Dear Sir

   We are happy to inform you that the Workshop on Image and Speech
Processing (WISP) 2008 is being organized by the International Institute of
Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad jointly with the C. R. Rao Advanced
Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, Hyderabad
(AIMSCS) on 13th December 2008 at IIIT Hyderabad with support from British
council and DST-CMS project of AIMSCS. The objective of the workshop is to
provide an opportunity for students, faculty, scientists and engineers to
interact with leading researchers in the areas of speech and image
processing. The workshop consists of a series of invited talks from experts
from India and abroad in these areas. Researchers in academic, government
and industrial organizations are encouraged to participate in the workshop.
