Dear Anoop,

Could not enter the ILUG activities. Am in contact with Mr Srikanth for
installing LINUX on to my revamped PC.

Want to install LINUX myself. Shall workout the list of activities to
install UBUNTU in a PC currently installed with WIN. Typical format shall be
as follow:

Even if the installation does not workout properly, if the windows can
bootup later PC can still be used.

Is it better to have another HDD for LINUX so that WIndows will have
separate HDD? Will this help in recovery of files in case of LINUX/WINDOWS
system crash?

Configuration of my PC: CEL II, 2.8 GHz, 256 MD DDR, 80 GB(10 GB for LINUX).
Seimens' C2110 is the BB Modem given by BSNL.
