[Indlinux-group] Indic L10n status

Recently when i was buying my daily newspaper one granduncle passing
by heard something i was saying to the vendor and said Hindi is
actually a mix of 5 - 6 bhasha from the northern region... i was not
aware of this...

Similarly there are more than 5 - 6 languages which use devanagari
script.  Konkani of Goa is one of them!

i do not know if this is helpful in any way, just thought that there
may be scope for adding more varient languages like maithili...
