[smc-discuss] ML-TTKarthika to unicode

Hi,

I'm trying to copy paste  ML-TTKarthika fonts from word or open office
doucment to a HTML editor. When i submit the form i want to convert
the content to utf8. As i'm using PHP i have tried using utf8_encode,
mb_convert_encoding
 but the output is as follows

How can i convert it to unicode and save in mysql database.
