I came to know that  IT mission is organising a programme on malayalam
language technology today and tomorrow

മലയാളഭാഷാ സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യയുടെ വികസനം വേഗത്തിലാക്കാനുള്ള സര്‍ക്കാര്‍
പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഫലമായി ഇന്ന് ഒട്ടു മിക്ക
സര്‍ക്കാര്‍-അര്‍ദ്ധസര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലെ കംപ്യൂട്ടറുകളില്‍ മലയാളം
ഉപയോഗിച്ചു വരുന്നുണ്ട്. ഇത് പ്രധാനമായും ഔദ്യോഗിക കത്തുകള്‍
തയ്യാറാക്കുന്ന തലത്തിലാണ് കണ്ടു വരുന്നത്. അടുത്തതായി മലയാളത്തില്‍
രേഖകള്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സമഗ്രമായ ഒരു പദ്ധതിയാണ് വേണ്ടത്.
ഇതിലേയ്ക്കുള്ള മുന്നോടിയായി ഇപ്പോള്‍ വിവിധ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില്‍ നടന്നു
വരുന്ന ഗവേഷണ വികസനപ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ എന്തെല്ലാമാണെന്നും ഏതെല്ലാം
പ്രവര്‍ത്തനമേഖലകള്‍ക്കാണ് ഊന്നല്‍ നല്‍കേണ്ടത് എന്നും
അറിയേണ്ടതായിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇവയെക്കുറിച്ച് ക്ഷണിക്കപ്പെട്ട വിദഗ്ധര്‍ അവരുടെ
കാഴ്ച്ചപ്പാടുകളും അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളും അവതരിപ്പിക്കും.
ഈ ശില്പശാലയില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ താല്പര്യമുള്ളവര്‍ അവരുടെ പേര്
രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്. ആദ്യത്തെ 50 പേര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമായിട്ട്
പ്രവേശനം നിജപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

No one invited SMC officially to participate in this important
programme yet. Santhosh Thottingal got a personal invitation
As a major contributing Group in malayalam computing, i feel this is
an insult to SMC

I checked with many experst and friends working in malayalam computing
and understood that they were not invited to this programme yet

And even if you invited at this last minute , it will be difficult for
many people working in malayalam computing to participate in this
meeting in such a short time span & unavilability of tickets in pooja
holidays
I request you to shift this meeting to ensure all groups participation
in this important meeting
