An alphabet should be a complete container of all possible writing forms
ever existed in the life of a language. - This might need some explanation.

A Font Type subset should be a container of all possible writing forms
existing at a certain time period with each form uniquely corresponding to a
phoneme and vice versa with out ambiguity.

eg:
Font set : (of Malayalam)
Font subset: (Malayalam Old Lipi)
Font subset : (Malayalam (attempted)(intermediate) new Lipi)
Font subset: (Malayalam Archival Lipi) (For very old documents)
Type set: (Malayalam Script)
Type set: (Malayalam calligraphy) etc. etc.

As of now, we have only one Font Set for Malayalam in Unicode. And all
possible subsets are accommodated within the same code set.

In any case, this whole topic will need a much thorough discussion/ debate
and settlement.
