[smc-discuss] Remove Latin glyphs from fonts?

Now a days, all rendering systems are capable of using fallback fonts
for missing glyphs. Eg: Tamil inside Malayalam text, where applied font
is Meera.

The only combination where this fallback did not work AFAIK is windows
XP+IE 6.

I think with mlm2 branch of fonts we can remove the latin glyphs in our
fonts.
