Remember that the Simputer, which was India's first Free Hardware
project, and probably the world's one of the first too, and, of course,
used Free Software (GNU/Linux) had a basic text-to-speech system and
apparently had support for several Indian languages. Just wondering
whether it had supported Malayalam and, if it did, what happened to the
software.
