Such attempts are appreciated , and waiting to see at least Delhi Gov
institutions to be free from usage of proprietary soft wares.I hope that
they(AAP) is determined and capable of taking this forward.. In solidarity
..

I think LK Advani and Other Congress leaders visiting RMS to discuss with
him how he is well maintaining his long hairs :P
They were in power in central and many other state for decades long.I have
not heard anywhere they have implemented or promoted free software anytime.


Being from Kerala this is not a surprising news for me as the usage of FOSS
is promoted and well implemented by the VS Achuthanandan( Gov way long
back..

Also during my high school education we had a subject IT(Information
technology) covering basics of free software technologies such as open
office(then it was open office only),Gimp .. etc and they have made such a
comprehensive distro suit for basic computer and it education of students
in high school level.
