Subject: [Mozilla India] Join us for the Firefox OS launch team India

Hi all,

Thrilled to share with you that Firefox OS will be launched in India soon.
You may have already read about this in blogposts and newspapers :-)

Mozilla community will play an active role during this phase and we need
all your support to make it a success!

There are several ways to get involved:

*1. Firefox OS Launch Team:* The core launch team helps bring Firefox OS to
the market in the country by taking on a number of responsibilities. All
team members will receive training on how to do these activities and a
great deal of support from the Mozilla Engagement team throughout the
launch period. The core team will have significant experience in their
respective fields. This team will need to commit extensive time commitment
during the launch period - attending meetings, hosting events, and several

There is a provisional team for the above roles as mentioned at the MozCamp
India Beta. The proposal is to expand the team in below areas:

-- Training
-- Social media &
-- Localization

Applications will be reviewed based on various criteria like: extensive
project experience, time commitment, flexibility of travel (if needed, say

*2. Mobilizers: *

Mobilizers India: The activity in India will be started very shortly and
we'll have awesome documentation/ tools & resources to support with the
initiatives. Anyone interested can join and be a Mobilizer. To keep
yourself posted on latest updates, follow this mailing list and Mobilizers
India Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/mobilizerindia/

The launch team role is more about coordination and are there to support
Mobilizers activity. There will be several opportunities to participate in
the Mobilizer marketing and other activities.
