[smc-discuss] how to enable typing in malayalam in debian 8 with gnome

I installed Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 32-bit with Version 3.14.1. I think
ididnt install malayalm language support during debian installion time. I
want to type in malayalam.ibus is installed, and i also installed malayalam
unicode fonts. but i dont see any input source malayalam. Only english is
present. please see attachments.

I was earlier using Gnome classic in Trisquel gnulinux and there it was
easy to switch between input methods.
