[smc-discuss] how to enable typing in malayalam in debian 8 with gnome

Did you install the packages ibus and ibus-m17n ? (and possibly ibus-gtk3
also. I don't remember if that was needed). Also, I think libreoffice-gtk3
is required for ibus to work in LibreOffice.
