Hi,

Please note I am undertaking the following research; see abstract below:

Research on Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) is largely centred on the
economics of FOSS, FOSS business models, Software Development processes and
motivations of individuals volunteering their effort for the FOSS
community. Despite being adopted within enterprises for the last two
decades, adoption of FOSS has not received the attention it deserves. This
research aims to formulate a set of design principles to foster FOSS
implementation within enterprises in Kerala, India through multiple case
studies. Signified by ‘Free as in Freedom’, FOSS integrates social movement
and software development methodology (‘Open Source’, denoting collaborative
design); both compatible with the ethos of Kerala. The different cases will
be analysed to identify design principles using CIMO logic framework as a
way to explain why (mechanism, ‘M’) acting in a particular way (an
intervention, ‘I’) in a certain environment (the context, ‘C’) will cause
an outcome ('O').

Your input is kindly requested for the above study. Please see
questionnaire attached; it consists of 2 parts, 'A' and 'B'. 'A' consists
of general questions and 'B' specific questions related to your
organisation. Please fill in both parts if relevant.

Looking forward to your reply.

thanking you in anticipation and regards, girija
