[smc-discuss] A Web Interface For KDE Malayalam Localization

Hi !

      KDE Malayalam localization has been in standstill for too long. 
I'm trying to revamp it. With help of Anish Sheela, I've set up a Pootle 
<https://pootle.translatehouse.org/> instance for translating KDE : 
http://kde.anishsheela.com . The whole setup and how it's working is 
explained here : http://github.com/subins2000/kde-pootle . Using Pootle, 
it's easy & quick to translate.

      I would like to let everyone know that we've started this 
instance. Reading the wiki, people who have commit access to KDE are 
"മാക്സിന്‍ ബി ജോണും പ്രവീണും അനി പീറ്ററും ശരത് ലക്ഷ്മണും". I hope 
they're in this mailing list. Initially we just did some translations.

      In a previous email to this list, I talked about setting up a 
Weblate instance for SMC. But, weblate didn't work out because it 
couldn't handle import of large files such as KDEs where there are 
thousands of strings in one file itself. Pootle worked better although 
it's UI and front-end features are not the most best.
