Hi Friends,<br>This is a technical doubt, and not about any licensing.<br><br>Why doesn't the free software community use something like <a href="http://www.jxos.org/">JXOS (http://www.jxos.org/)</a>, and still continue to use traditional systems like GNU/Linux and Android/Linux? Microsoft camp has similarly not started using <a href="http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/singularity/">Singularity (http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/singularity/)</a>. So, is the whole software ecosystem - both free and proprietary - sticking on to the old technologies just for backward compatibility?<br clear="all">
