[Student-projects] GSOC 14 - Create an Android IME

Hi Navneeth,

I am Viraj Patel, ME(Software Systems) student from BITS Pilani. I have
graduated from DA-IICT in Information and Communication Technology. I have
developed two Android applications as a part of my academic projects,
details of which are below:

ArMenu (Augmented-Reality Restaurant Menu)
This application was a part of pervasive system developed to enrich
restaurant experience for customers. The application uses Qualcomm Vuforia
native sdk to embed augmented reality in the application. Basically, the
main goal of application is to display customized restaurant menu with 3-D
model of food item to help customers make choice.

RemoteAccess
An application to access a computer remotely using ssh,sftp ptotocol. Focus
was to provide user friendly UI and make user feel like he has every files
he needs.

I have also used Git for project management. But, I used private repository
to host my code. I have also worked with Android-ndk during my Application
development.

I am interested in project "Create an Android IME" and I would like to know
more about the project. I think, it's related to changing the suggestions
when we type in text in Android. For example, if I type "Bharat" or
"Bharath" is should be same word Bharat(in Hindi). Customizing the in built
IME of Android is all this project is about. Please clarify me if I'm
misunderstanding something.
