I agree with Anivar. A site maintained by ourself can make it more 
simple. But there are some problems too of running a wiki or a cms by 
our own. First, the server must be a dedicated one and must have 
periodic backups. And, its really like gambling while updating the 
softwares to latest versions.(My database went wrong a few times when I 
tried upgrading wordpress). Size of the software doesn't matter I think 
as all the contents are added to the database only. But, I don't prefer 
Joomla now as I installed it here(http://bizzard.tozm.com/smc1/) and 
found that it has not much support for non-English languages. Drupal is 
much faster than other cms but feels like it lacks something....

Also, we could place adsense and get a small revenue for our works... :-)
