Joju 2 things

1. did u uninstalled ttf-freefont?
2. i dont see any relevence is renaming $HOME/mozilla
  Actually there is no folder named mozilla in home it must be .mozilla .
can Delete .mozilla and mo.zilla from home and set fonts in  Firefox 
-Edit - Preferences -Content tab -Advanced - Malayalam and select 
Default font as Rachana-g02 or meera-g02 with minimum 16 size?
