Yes, I did that much only.
After that it got working.
Actually Evuran suggested me to do so.

What I did is:
1.Installed Pango patchces
2.Installed surumised Fonts.
3.Removed Anjali
    result: Both Gedit and Firefox are rendering incorrectly.
4.Removed ttf-freefont package
    result: Gedit is showing the fonts correctly, Firefox is rendering
incorrectly as it was.
5. mv $HOME/mozilla $HOME/mo.zilla
    result: Firefox started working properly
