[smc-discuss] GSoc : Next step

Hi,

I'm excited about being selected into GSoC with SMC. Thanks for putting
your faith in me! I'm not sure if I should post this in the SMC list or the
varnam mailing list. What are the students expected to do during the
community bonding period? From the FAQ I understand that reading
documentation and 'interacting' with the community takes place during this
stage.
But unfortunately, I will be having university exams from April 29 to May
20 (if Kerala university doesn't postpone the exams - which the almost
always do). However, I do not want to miss out on the community bonding
period. If I could get an idea of what the organization expects from the
student at this stage, I can divide my time accordingly between exam preps
and GSoC prep.
