[smc-discuss] Re: Firefox 3 Download

In Fedora 9, after I executed the new firefox, it asked whether this version
should be the default browser. When I clicked "OK", it automatically
configured the new firefox as the default browser. Now I am able to open the
new  firefox from the panel icon and applications menu. I have installed it
in a common location(/usr/local/firefox), may be that could be the reason.
