[smc-discuss] Malayalm Typing issues in KDE 4.3

Dear all,
	iBus works well with the GNOME applications, but while typing in KDE 
applications, there are some problems. At first iBus would not work at all, but 
later when i added (as santhosh ettan said) QT_IM_MODULE=ibus in 
/etc/environment, I can type malayalam in Kate well, but in other applications 
like Kmail, a new problem showed up. Here's the screen shot describing the 
problem, malayalam is not rendered well.iBus says there's no input window 
while i use Konversation. Please help me to sort this problem out.

Machine: Ubuntu 9.10 + KDE 4.3
