Ah. init directories varies from distro to distro, but most of them
will have /etc/init.d

If you have installed dictd, and have an internet connection, then you
don't need to install the dictionaries. Instead make use of
silpa.smc.org.in by doing "echo "server silpa.smc.org.in" >>
/etc/dict.conf" as root.
