I think that software was just a marketing gimmick. The cafes I know at
Valanchery use more advanced software than that. One main issue to switch
to GNU/Linux is the lack of a software, which can easily control time usage
on a system, features to remotely terminate a application using a GUI and
also remotely Power ON or OFF systems.

The second concern is gaming.

Every other requirements in a cafe have better alternatives in FOSS.
