difficult to ditch Google entirely. It may be in the surveillance business,
but it's also mastered the convenience state." . "Convenience" അതാണ്
മിക്കവരും, (even those who are technologically literate and capable)
They provide a complete package - Mail, Chat, Calendar,
Cloud storage etc. It is no surprise people tend to use that package
instead of privacy-aware solutions which are independent and hence,
unfortunately, need a little more work. To get the three solutions - Mail,
Chat, Storage - I should use three different solutions - a mail service,
xmpp, owncloud. Why the trouble, when I can simply use GMail??
Conveniece often supercedes privacy concerns. At least for the majority of
the people.
