Details:

I used the latest svn trunk version of FreeSans.sfd and generated TTF files
and I found many rendering issues.

I used the test file available here:
https://raw.github.com/smc/fonts/master/tests/tests.txt

I compared this against Lohit & Rachana fonts:
https://fedorahosted.org/lohit/
http://wiki.smc.org.in/Fonts

Please let me know if any other details required.
