Hi, Baiju,

Part of what you are seeing is due to a Harfbuzz bug, which makes the
"reformed" Malayalam script the default for Malayalam.  Unfortunately, the SVN
version of FreeFont makes a distinction.

Would you like to do a bit of testing for us?
