[Student-projects] Android SDK for Silpa

Hello, I'm an experienced android developer. I'd like to work for the
Android SDK for Silpa. The problem is, I dont know Python. But im
experienced in Android and Java. I want to know if knowing Python is a
necessity for this project. Also, there are no mentors listed in the
info-page. Does it mean one can not work on this project?  Please guide me
through what i need to do for this project.
