[Student-projects] Contribution towards SMC and GsoC 2014

Hello World,

This is Nalin, final year student of Computer Science from New Delhi. I
like open source computing and would love to contribute towards SMC as a
part of GSoC 2k14. I have gone through the 'ideas page' and am interested
in the "Braille Keyboard" project.
I believe there's a lot that can be done on this project and we can deliver
a really nice piece of application to visually impaired. We can use 'Bharati
Braille' to target many Indian languages with similar scripts(like Devanagari
is used in Hindi, Marathi and Nepali among other languages and dialects).
Further, including South Indian languages is also possible if we consider
'user-specific' customization for the main application. Audio feedback from
TTS can be configured for echoing individual characters or maybe complete
words.
May I discuss my proposal with someone(maybe here or at Gtalk/IRC or mail)
? I tried to ping at IRC too but didnt get any response.
