thanks Praveen.

FSF translation does not appear to be too big. I would like to get in touch with Shyam re: FSF translation. Please help.

Meanwhile it would be nice if someone can get me started on sanskrit localisation for GNOME or KDE. Any criteria on which on eis a better choice for desktop? i heard KDE mimics Windows UI and that probably is the only diff.  Is KDE stable and reliable? I am sure it supports Unicode and also devanagari script (without any glitches! Ubuntu seems to have some issues here).

For desktop he can start with GNOME or KDE. We can help with that. Or
if he wants to start with FSF pages first, then he can talk to Shyam.
He just have to tell us where he wants to start and we can help him
accordingly.
