Thanks. I agree that what you said is the general guideline, though I still
feel that Malayalam should given a first class citizenship in the
engineering world. When Englishmen accept a *totally new word*, people say
that it is an English word. When Malayalis accept a *totally new word*,
people say that Malayalam borrowed from English.

I feel that the general consensus which most people have made here should be
made available as a written policy available through the
http://wiki.smc.org.in/, so that people new to Malayalam localisation (like
me) can see what the general guideline is.

My general idea in this is that, we should give the users an option to
choose - like different themes or skins. The users can choose a different
skin for the product, and can have different word for each option. Wouldn't
this be better than hard-coding the word?
