[smc-discuss] Firefox 4 Malayalam review

Hi all.

I am ready to help in whatever way I can, and Ashik is there too, so we can
do whatever we can until Ani returns for sure :).

As of now, I think the most important is to try out firefox-malayalam
extensively as possible and report it in the thread here. Find out unclear
translations or translations that can be made better. We can have
discussions on what the best possible solution (translation to the issue. As
Santosh mentioned, such issues should generally be mentioned as a bug report
at the link given below :

Some bugs have already been reported there by me, and we should soon have
discussions on these. For example,

"go to website" = വെബ്സൈറ്റിലേക്ക് 'പോകുക' ? (in a new tab that is being
loaded)
"ok" = ഊവ് ? (instead of ശരി)
"colours" = കളറുകള്‍  (instead of നിറങ്ങള്‍)
"tab" = റ്റാബ് ?

Please report such issues, if possible with snapshots.

I think the latest build of Firefox malayalam is 4 (can someone verify?).
This latest version can be downloaded at the following links :

I think it will be easier to first find out the bugs and suggest
modifications. The changing of translations can be done quite easily, and I
think this should be done by just one or two people (as Ashik's first
suggestion). I can take up this (Ashik maybe you can too, since you may
remember the procedure).

We shall commit the files later when Ani is around.
