Epiphany or 'Web' doesn't allow changing default search provider
easily (you have to know a specific dconf key). I reported a bug and
they don't seem to be interested in giving this choice for users or
choose a privacy respecting search engine as default. GNOME FAIL!

If you think this is a bad choice for gnome to make on behalf of its
Free Software users, please comment on this bug

Share your thoughts here as well. Also see http://donttrack.us/ and
http://dontbubble.us/ to get an idea why google search is bad for your
privacy. I have been happily using duckduckgo.com as my default search
engine for quite some time now. Try it out, you'll like it.

You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your
rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as
they follow the rules: laws and constitution.
